Chelsea are reportedly set to make a £80m bid to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho ahead of this summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old is hoping to return to England and play in the Premier League next season, with the Blues set to battle long-term admirers Manchester United for his signature.

Sancho came close to joining the Red Devils last year, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were unwilling to match the £108m asking price.

Dortmund have since dropped their valuation of the England international to around £80m, but they are hoping that an impressive spell at Euro 2020 can boost the winger's transfer fee up to the £100m mark.

According to The Sun, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is a big admirer of Sancho and has requested to the club's hierarchy that they lodge a bid to sign him this summer.

The Manchester City academy graduate is believed to have been a boyhood Blues fans growing up and would consider a move to Stamford Bridge if an offer were to be made.

Sancho has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund so far this season, scoring 16 goals and providing 21 assists.
