Lee Clark hopes to re-sign Lingard

Lee Clark has confirmed that he is still in talks with Manchester United over another loan deal for Jesse Lingard.

The 21-year-old scored six goals in 13 starts for Birmingham City during a brief spell with the Championship side earlier in the season.

The manager told the Birmingham Mail: "I am still in conversation with David Moyes and his staff about Jesse. That isn't completely dead.

"I am also having conversations with other clubs regarding some of the top young players to bring them in on loan. I am trying to build a relationship with all these big clubs."

Birmingham currently sit 17th in the table.
