PSV Eindhoven coach Phillip Cocu has refused to be drawn on Memphis Depay's reported meeting with Manchester United.
The £25m-rated winger has reportedly already held talks with United boss Louis van Gaal, whom he played under with the Netherlands in last summer's World Cup.
However, Cocu says that he is in no position to reveal anything. He told reporters: "It's not me who's in a position to confirm that Depay spoke with United.
"I can't say that there hasn't been a meeting between Depay and United. But I can't confirm it as well."
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of Europe's hottest properties after netting 20 Eredivisie goals in 27 appearances as PSV clinched the league title.
His contract expires in 2018.
