Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly hoping to convince former Juventus teammate Federico Chiesa to join him at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old caught the eye during Italy's Euro 2020 triumph and already boasts two goals and one assist from seven games in all competitions for the Old Lady this term.
Chiesa is technically still contracted to Fiorentina - with Juventus holding an obligation to buy the attacker in the summer of 2022 - but he is already being linked with a move away from Turin.
Liverpool and Chelsea have both been tipped to move for the attacker, but Ronaldo is supposedly keen to engineer a move to Old Trafford, with agent Ivan Reggiani telling CMIT TV: "I think there are very serious and important foreign pressures on him [Chiesa].
"Chiesa is the second-third player as a talent in Italy. Appreciated across the Channel, it is heavily sponsored by Cristiano Ronaldo. I think Federico can leave Juventus very soon. It can easily exceed one hundred million. There is not only United: there are 2-3 clubs that could reach 120-130 million."
Chiesa - who set up Lorenzo Pellegrini's goal in Italy's Nations League semi-final defeat to Spain - previously banked 34 goals and 25 assists from 153 games in a Fiorentina shirt.
