Ousmane Dembele has reportedly made it clear to his representatives that he wants to sign a new contract at Barcelona despite interest from elsewhere.
The France international's current deal at Camp Nou is due to expire next June, and a number of clubs, including Manchester United, Juventus and Chelsea, are said to be monitoring developments.
Dembele has allegedly been reluctant to pen fresh terms at Barcelona, as he would have to take a pay cut due to the club's financial problems.
However, according to Sport, the World Cup winner has now signalled that he wants to sign a new deal with the Catalan giants, and the club are becoming increasingly confident that an agreement can be reached.
The report claims that Dembele is 'comfortable' at Camp Nou and wants to repay the La Liga outfit for standing by him amid his injury problems.
The 24-year-old missed the start of the 2021-22 campaign with a knee injury but made his return as a second-half substitute in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League.
