Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot has expressed his desire to stay at the club and is prepared to "give everything" under Ralf Rangnick.

The 22-year-old struggled for game time under previous boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but has recently started back-to-back games in victories against Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

Despite reported interest from Jose Mourinho's Roma, Dalot is happy to stay at Old Trafford and is keen to cement his place as a first-team regular for United.

"It's what I'm here for. It's not easy when you're outside [the starting lineup] and you don't play as much," the Portugal international told the club's official website.

"But our job is to keep ready and I think I was doing a fantastic job outside the pitch being ready.

"When the opportunity comes, I now feel I need to keep going and give everything when I'm on the pitch too."

Dalot, who will see his contract at Old Trafford expire in June 2023, has made 44 senior appearances for Man United since joining from Porto in 2018, including nine games this campaign.
