Borussia Dortmund have reportedly not given up hope of extending Erling Braut Haaland's stay at the Westfalenstadion.
Despite retaining the services of the Norway international during the summer transfer window, Haaland is expected to depart the Bundesliga side in 2022.
The 21-year-old is said to have a release clause in his contract, an option which the majority of European football's top clubs are ready to activate next year.
However, according to journalist Christian Falk, Dortmund are prepared to double Haaland's salary if he is willing to pen a new contract.
Should the forward agree to fresh terms at the German outfit, he would earn in the region of £250,000 per week.
With the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United among his suitors, Haaland may insist on a marginally higher release clause as a compromise.
