Real Madrid have reportedly completed the signing of Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
Despite the 18-year-old's contract being due to expire next summer, none of his long-term admirers made a significant move to wrap up a deal.
At one stage, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United looked like being the most likely destination for the Frenchman, particularly with Zinedine Zidane leaving Real Madrid.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Los Blancos have got the transfer over the line for €31m (£26.6m) plus add-ons.
Writing on Twitter, Romano acknowledged that paperwork between the Spanish giants and Rennes had all been completed.
While there was the potential of Camavinga spending the season on loan at his current club, he is expected to go straight into Carlo Ancelotti's squad at the Bernabeu.
