Everton manager Roberto Martinez is reportedly considering a move for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck this summer.
The England international was linked with an Old Trafford exit before manager David Moyes was sacked on Tuesday morning.
Reports have claimed that the 23-year-old will wait to discover who United appoint as their new manager before making a decision regarding his future.
According to The Express, Martinez is pondering an approach for Welbeck should he be priced out of a permanent move for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
Meanwhile, veteran Ryan Giggs will take charge of the United first team for their final four games of the season.
