Fenerbahce are reportedly planning to meet with Anthony Martial and his representatives in the near future in the hope of agreeing a pre-contract with the forward next month.
The 28-year-old's current deal with Manchester United is due to expire next June, and a one-year option is not expected to be taken up by the club.
Martial is therefore expected to leave the Red Devils on a free transfer at the end of the campaign, and a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in his services.
Fenerbahce are believed to have emerged as the favourites for his signature, though, and according to Dirilis Postasi, the Turkish giants are planning to hold talks with the forward in the near future.
The report claims that the club are keen to learn Martial's salary demands, and a pre-contract could potentially be agreed in January if all parties are happy with the deal.

The former Monaco youngster has been a regular for Man United this season, making 19 appearances in all competitions, but he has only scored twice.
Martial has just one Premier League goal to his name this term in 13 appearances, while he also found the back of the net against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup.
The Frenchman is second-choice behind Rasmus Hojlund when it comes to the centre-forward role at Old Trafford, but he has struggled to make an impression this term when given opportunities.
Martial has been with the 20-time English champions since September 2015, and he has represented the club on 317 occasions, scoring 90 goals and registering 55 assists in the process.

The forward started against Bournemouth in the Premier League on December 9, but he missed out against Liverpool last weekend due to illness.
Martial could be back in the squad against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon, but he is unlikely to be considered for a start despite the fact that Hojlund is yet to score a league goal this term.
The Red Devils are believed to be keen to sign a new forward in January, with Galatasaray's Mauro Icardi believed to have emerged as a potential loan option.
A new midfielder could also potentially arrive in the winter transfer market, with Donny van de Beek set to move to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, while Casemiro is said to have a big-money offer from Saudi Arabia.
Jadon Sancho is also set to leave Old Trafford next month following his fall-out with Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag, which has seen him removed from the first-team picture at the club.
