Fiorentina want to sign Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo in next summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Fiorentina are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo next summer.

The Argentina international has made over 120 appearances for United in all competitions since arriving from Sporting Lisbon but has struggled for regular action in recent seasons.

This term, the versatile defender has only made three Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, with the bulk of his outings coming in the cup competitions.

According to La Nazione, Fiorentina director of sport Daniele Prade has identified the 29-year-old as a potential signing in next summer's transfer window.

The report claims that the Italian outfit believe that they could secure a deal for a figure in the region of £8m, with United open to a sale ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Rojo has only played one minute of Premier League football since the middle of October.
