Darren Fletcher's proposed move to West Ham United is reportedly on the verge of collapsing after the Scottish midfielder failed to agree personal terms.
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal had confirmed that the 30-year-old was in London having a medical with the East London outfit.
However, the Daily Mail claims that Fletcher has returned to the North-West despite being offered a reported £75,000 a week to join the Hammers.
It is thought that West Ham are now considering their options as the transfer deadline looms.
Fletcher is out of contract with the Red Devils at the end of the season, and Van Gaal is believed to have told the midfielder that he is free to leave Old Trafford.
