Nottingham Forest and Derby County are reportedly going head to head for the signature of Manchester United youngster Tosin Kehinde.
The Red Devils are seeking £500,000 in compensation for the 20-year-old, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
The two clubs are said to be reluctant to hand over that fee for the Lagos-born midfielder, while the Red Devils have been tipped to offer him a new deal.
Brentford, Reading and Queens Park Rangers have also been linked with the United Under-23s star, as have clubs on the continent.
Forest are in the midst of a major recruitment drive that has so far seen them add eight players to their senior squad this summer.
