Ezekiel Fryers closer to Tottenham Hotspur switch

Manchester United defender Ezekiel Fryers is understood to have edged closer to a move to Tottenham Hotspur after he spent the day at the club's training ground.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford after turning down a new deal with the Premier League runners-up.

The teenager is now thought to have discussed the details of the transfer with Spurs officials ahead of a move this weekend, according to Goal.com.

Despite being out of contract, United would be due a compensation fee as Fryers came through their youth academy.
