Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan has played down speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old has reportedly been watched by a scout from United on numerous occasions this season and the Red Devils are said to be preparing to make an offer during the January transfer window.
However, the Argentinian has insisted that he is "very content" with his Portuguese club.
"Manchester? I am very content for the moment at Benfica," he told Sport TV. "I am very happy to be here with a team that is fighting to win important titles.
"About my future, I will only say that I have signed a deal with Benfica and nobody has told me that things will change.
"For now I will be staying with Benfica."
Gaitan featured for Benfica last night as they claimed a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last night.
