Galatasaray are reportedly still in discussions with Manchester United over a potential deal for Donny van de Beek.
The Netherlands international's future has been the subject of much speculation throughout the summer, but he has thus far been unable to engineer a move away from Old Trafford.
Lorient are believed to have had a loan offer for the midfielder accepted earlier this week, but Van de Beek turned down the chance to move to the French outfit.
According to The Athletic, Galatasaray are keen on the Dutchman and have already had a £1m loan bid rejected by the 20-time English champions.
The report claims that discussions are ongoing, and there is no immediate rush, as the Turkish transfer window does not close until September 15, giving them time to complete a deal.

Fred has left Old Trafford during the current market to join Fenerbahce, but Scott McTominay is staying on deadline day amid interest from Fulham and West Ham United.
Man United's midfield department will soon be boosted by the arrival of Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, while Kobbie Mainoo is expected back from injury later this month.
As a result, the Red Devils are said to be open to letting Van de Beek leave past the English transfer deadline, with the 26-year-old not in Erik ten Hag's plans moving forward.
The Dutchman has found it difficult to make his mark for Man United since arriving from Ajax in 2020, only managing two goals and two assists in 60 appearances for the club.

Van de Beek was restricted to just 10 appearances last season due to a serious knee injury, while he has not been involved this term amid the speculation surrounding his future.
A number of other clubs are also said to be keeping a close eye on developments, although the Italian, Dutch and Spanish transfer windows also close on Friday evening, while the Bundesliga market has already finished.
Van de Beek could also be an option for teams in the Saudi Pro League in the latter stages of their window, although there has not been any concrete interest in him from the division thus far.
Man United have already confirmed deals for Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir and Spanish defender Sergio Reguilon on deadline day, while Jonny Evans has signed a one-year contract at Old Trafford.
