The agent of Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has confirmed that he is in talks over a possible return to Tottenham Hotspur for his client this summer.
Bale spent six years at White Hart Lane from 2007 to 2013, scoring 55 goals in 203 games and winning the PFA Player of the Year award twice before sealing a world-record switch to Madrid.
The 31-year-old has been told that he no longer has a future at the Bernabeu under manager Zinedine Zidane, though, with a return to the Premier League with Manchester United or Spurs touted.
Recent reports suggested that Tottenham had leapfrogged United in the race for his signature, and Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett has now seemingly confirmed that.
"Gareth still loves Spurs. We are talking - Spurs, Real Madrid, and the player's camp. [Tottenham] is where he wants to be," he told BBC Radio Wales.
Bale has scored 105 goals in 251 games for Real Madrid, helping the club to four Champions League titles and two La Liga triumphs.
