Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish to snub summer move to Manchester United?

Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish suggests that he is settled with life at the West Midlands outfit, amid speculation regarding a move to Manchester United.

Midfielder Jack Grealish has suggested that he is content with life at Aston Villa, amid speculation of a summer switch to Manchester United.

After starring for Villa in the Premier League this season, Grealish is being tipped to move to Old Trafford in the summer.

However, as he prepares for Sunday's EFL Cup final with Manchester City, the playmaker has hinted that he is loving life with the West Midlands outfit after what he describes as an "immature" start to his career.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the 24-year-old said: "Everything that's happened in my life, good or bad, football-wise has set me up to be the person I am today. I wouldn't change anything.

"Everyone knows I've had a bit of bad press when I was a bit younger, but I wouldn't change it. That's made me who I am today. I think I've already started a new chapter. In the past year, you have certain stuff happen and when I was out injured. I got two bad injuries a couple of years ago, a kidney injury and then I did my shins.

"I was out for three to four months, and when you're out everything kicks in really, you start to think about what you really want to achieve. When I was young I might have been a bit immature, but now I know what I want to do in my career, play for Aston Villa, play for England and win trophies. That's the aim."

Although Villa would ideally like to keep Grealish, they realistically need to avoid relegation to the Championship to avoid having to cash in on their star man.
