Valencia have allegedly launched a £25m offer for Mason Greenwood, with the Manchester United forward keen to make a permanent move to Spain during this summer's transfer window.
The Englishman spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at Getafe, scoring 10 goals and registering six assists in 36 appearances for the capital giants in all competitions.
Greenwood is now expected to leave Man United on a permanent basis, with the club allegedly making the decision to sell him despite comments from new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe earlier this year.
Ratcliffe had suggested that there could be a route for the 22-year-old back into the first-team squad, but he is now set to end his long association with the Red Devils this summer.
A recent report claimed that Greenwood had come to an agreement with Juventus over personal terms, with the Old Lady discussing a transfer fee with Man United.

Valencia 'make £25m bid for Greenwood'
However, it has since been claimed that the Turin giants are focusing on a deal for Greenwood's Man United teammate Jadon Sancho, who is also set to leave this summer.
According to The Mirror, Greenwood's priority is to remain in Spain, and Valencia have now launched a £25m offer for his services.
The report claims that Juve had been willing to pay £40m, including add-ons, and it is unlikely that Man United would be willing to accept Valencia's current bid as it stands.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest, although neither club are believed to be planning to make a permanent move for him during the summer transfer window.

Greenwood 'wants to stay in Spain'
Greenwood recently sent a message to Getafe and their fans for the support that he had been shown during the 2023-24 campaign.
"Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season. Thank you for making me feel welcome and one of your own. I enjoyed every second, alongside my team-mates and club. A bitter-sweet ending, but it was a pleasure to play for you, I wish you all the best," he wrote on Instagram.
Getafe had been keen to keep hold of Greenwood, but Man United are not believed to be willing to discuss another loan deal, and the club do not have the financial power to sign him permanently.
In January 2022, following accusations from a woman, Greenwood, who has scored 35 goals and registered 12 assists in 129 matches for Man United, was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault, and he was then further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill.
The forward was also facing charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but the case against him was officially dropped last February, allowing him to resume his career during the 2023-24 campaign.
