Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland reportedly believes that he will be given the opportunity to join Manchester City during this summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old is expected to leave BVB at the end of the 2021-22 campaign, when a £63m release clause in his current deal will become active.
Manchester United have allegedly pulled out of the race for the Norway international, with Real Madrid said to be firmly at the head of the queue for his services.
According to Marca journalist Mario Cortegana, Haaland is expecting Man City to make a move for him this summer, with the Citizens firmly in the race for his signature.
Cortegana, though, claims that the Norwegian prefers a move to Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants keen to sign both Haaland and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe ahead of next season.
Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and PSG are also among the clubs to be linked with the Dortmund striker, who has scored 19 goals and registered six assists in 17 outings at club level this term.
