Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that fellow Swede Victor Lindelof "is ready for the big clubs out there" as speculation surrounding the Benfica defender continues to gather pace.
Man United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have all been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, who played alongside Ibrahimovic with Sweden before the experienced striker retired.
Ibrahimovic has said that Lindelof "is doing great things" at Benfica and is not surprised that a number of clubs are showing a keen interest in the centre-back.
"Victor is doing great things. He has a lot of responsibility for the national team, he is ready for the big clubs out there, it's up to him and what he wants. I know he's hot on the market," Ibrahimovic told reporters.
Lindelof joined Benfica from Vasteras SK in 2012 and initially represented the Portuguese side's B team, before stepping into the first-team picture in 2015. Last summer, the Sweden international extended his contract with the Portuguese giants until the summer of 2020.
