Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka as a potential placement for Denzel Dumfries in the summer.

Inter Milan have reportedly renewed their interest in Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of the summer transfer season.

The former Crystal Palace player joined the Red Devils at the start of the 2019-20 season for a fee of around £47m.

Wan-Bissaka has largely struggled to make an impact this season, having started just 13 Premier League matches. He has also seen his campaign disrupted by injury, missing a total of 12 league games due to recurring hamstring injuries.

The 26-year-old's current deal at Old Trafford is set to expire in June 2025. Consequently, the Premier League giants may consider a cut-price sale this summer to prevent losing him on a free transfer a year later.

Inter considering Wan-Bissaka as Dumfries replacement

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan, who were previously linked with a move for Wan-Bissaka, could revisit the possibility of acquiring his services at the end of this season for a fee of £13m.

It is understood that the United right-back is being considered as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries, whose current deal with Nerazzurri expires in 2025, and he is yet to agree a new contract with Serie A giants.

The Dutchman has attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League, with Aston Villa believed to be among those keeping tabs on his situation.

Man United are expected to undertake a major overhaul in the summer under the guidance of their new part-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The British billionaire took full control of the Red Devils' football operations after securing a 25% stake in the club earlier this year.

Since his arrival, Ratcliffe brought in Omar Berrada, following his departure from cross-town rivals Manchester City, to fill the gap left by Richard Arnold as the club's chief executive.

United have also been linked with the likes of Napoli's Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, while a host of existing players, including Jadon Sancho, Casemiro and Raphael Varane, could be making their way out of Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils are enduring an underwhelming season, currently in sixth place in the Premier League standings ahead of their trip to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
