Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a fresh offer for Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku, with Antonio Conte's side refusing to admit defeat in their pursuit of the Belgium international.
Despite being strongly linked with a move for Lukaku over the last few weeks, Inter are said to have fallen behind Juventus in the race to sign the former Anderlecht youngster this summer.
Lukaku's switch to Juve is believed to depend on Paulo Dybala moving in the opposite direction, though, and the Argentina international is said to be stalling on a switch to Old Trafford.
According to Corriere della Sera, Inter are preparing an offer of £65m plus bonuses in the hope of landing the 26-year-old.
Lukaku, who has not played a single minute of United's pre-season this summer, only managed 15 goals for the Red Devils during a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.
The centre-forward has a record of 187 goals in 413 club appearances for Anderlecht, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and United.
