Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a swoop for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who is currently struggling for game time on loan at Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea loanee Jadon Sancho in the near future.

The 24-year-old is enduring a temporary spell at Stamford Bridge from Manchester United, where he fell out with former head coach Erik ten Hag last season.

After refusing to apologise publicly to the Dutchman, Sancho was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.

The winger featured 14 times in the Bundesliga and on seven occasions in Europe for the German giants, who reached the Champions League final, losing to Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium.

Since making the high-profile permanent switch from Dortmund to Man United in the summer of 2021, Sancho has played in 83 competitive matches for the Red Devils, scoring just 12 goals.

Tottenham emerge as 'possible destination' for Sancho

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Man United attacker Sancho could be in line for a major move across Premier League battlelines during 2025.

The report claims that Chelsea's London rivals Tottenham has emerged as a possible destination for Sancho, who is struggling to nail a spot down in Enzo Maresca's preferred XI.

Despite providing three assists, Sancho has started just four Premier League matches for the Blues so far, totalling to only 307 minutes of top-flight action.

As a result, it is understood that Chelsea are considering the termination of the temporary agreement with Man United for the 24-year-old before the end of the season.

Such a development would open the door for permanent suitors of Sancho, with Ange Postecoglou's Spurs said to be considering a swoop for the former England international.

Where would Sancho fit at Tottenham?

Most comfortable operating on the left flank and cutting in on his favoured right foot, Sancho would face serious competition for places in North London.

Spurs' talisman and captain Son Heung-min is one of the first names on Postecoglou's teamsheet, despite the South Korean showing signs of slowing down in recent months.

It is more likely that Sancho would be in direct competition with the likes of Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner for a spot in the forward three.

Following the two-week international break, Spurs return to action at the home of the champions on Saturday evening, when a trip to Manchester City is scheduled.
