Joao Felix has hit back at suggestions that he could join Newcastle United this summer, as the speculation surrounding the Portugal international's future continues to gather pace.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Chelsea from Atletico Madrid, making the move to Stamford Bridge in January, but he has only scored three times in 18 appearances for the Blues.
The London club are believed to be keen to sign him on a permanent basis this summer, but their absence from next season's Champions League could cost them a potential deal.
Newcastle have recently been credited with an interest in the Portuguese, with the Magpies on the brink of securing Champions League football for the 2023-24 campaign.
The Magpies now have the financial power to compete for the biggest names in world football due to their recent takeover, and the club are expected to be active this summer.

However, Felix has hit back at claims that he could make the move to St James' Park in the upcoming market.
In response to an article by Eleven Sports, which showed him in a mocked up Newcastle shirt, Felix said that they were a "bunch of know-it-alls!"
Manchester United are also said to be long-term admirers of Felix, with the Red Devils expected to be a part of any potential battle to sign him in the upcoming market.
The Portuguese has scored 34 goals and registered 18 assists in 131 appearances for Atletico since making a big-money move to Wanda Metropolitano from Benfica in the summer of 2019.

Felix penned a new deal with Atletico before his loan departure, with his current terms running until June 2027, but there is still huge uncertainty surrounding his future in Madrid.
There have been claims that his relationship with Atleti head coach Diego Simeone has broken down, and he could therefore be moved on permanently this summer.
The Portuguese has featured on 14 occasions in the Premier League since his arrival at Chelsea, finding the back of the net three times, including against Bournemouth earlier this month.
Newcastle are expected to be in the market for at least one new attacker this summer despite both Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak enjoying strong campaigns for the club.
Wilson has 18 goals in all competitions this season for the Magpies, while Isak has 10; Miguel Almiron is the other player to register double figures in 2022-23, netting 11 times for Eddie Howe's side.
