Jude Bellingham's transfer to Borussia Dortmund has stalled over quarantine guidelines relating to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report.

Jude Bellingham's proposed move to Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham City has reportedly hit a snag over quarantine guidelines relating to the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite being persistently linked with Manchester United over the past few months, Bellingham is allegedly set to join Dortmund on a five-year contract in a deal worth €23m (£20.7m).

However, the 17-year-old may have to wait to complete his transfer to the Westfalenstadion, with Sky Germany reporting that strict rules regarding quarantine for arrivals into the UK are delaying the formalities of Bellingham's move.

Under current guidelines, Bellingham would have to undergo a 14-day quarantine period if he was to fly to Germany and back, and as a result the teenager's transfer is likely to go through when the Championship season has concluded.

Bellingham has registered four goals and three assists in the Championship for Birmingham this term, with Pep Clotet's side next in action against Swansea City on Wednesday evening.
