Juventus have reportedly offered Manchester United a pick of three players plus a cash sum for Paul Pogba.
Pogba's future remains up in the air, with the France international seemingly determined to leave the 20-time English champions in this summer's transfer window.
United are said to be refusing to drop their £170m valuation, though, which has cooled Real Madrid's interest.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Juve have come up with a plan to bring the 2018 World Cup winner back to Turin - offering United the chance to sign either Blaise Matuidi, Joao Cancelo or Douglas Costa in a player-plus-cash bid.
The Red Devils have been linked with all three players in the past, although a deal for either Matuidi or Costa would potentially be more appealing than Cancelo following the summer arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Pogba has played in both of United's pre-season wins over Perth Glory and Leeds United this summer.
The midfielder is also expected to feature in Saturday's International Champions Cup fixture with Inter Milan, but Romelu Lukaku will once again miss out through injury.
