Manchester United could reportedly lose out to Juventus in the race to sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The 20-time English champions are said to be weighing up a swoop for the 19-year-old, who has made 11 Serie A appearances since the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to Calciomercato, Juve are determined to secure the teenager's signature as soon as possible as they are concerned by the growing speculation.
The report claims that interest from elsewhere could force the Serie A champions to complete a January deal, even though they had initially wanted to wait until the end of the campaign to sign the Italian.
Brescia president Massimo Cellino recently claimed that the teenager is worth £259m while revealing that the likes of Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain had been in contact.
Tonali, who has a contract at Stadio Mario Rigamonti until June 2021, starred for Le Rondinelle last term as the club earned promotion from Serie B.
