Juventus chief Fabio Paratici appears to confirm the Italian side's interest in Paul Pogba but says no new players will arrive before a head coach is appointed.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has revealed that the club will discuss a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba once a new head coach has been appointed.

The Bianconeri have been without a boss since Massimiliano Allegri stepped down at the end of the season.

Chelsea's Maurizio Sarri has been in talks with Juve about succeeding Allegri and it is believed that his arrival could be announced in the coming days.

Paratici says that only then will attention turn towards new recruits, with Pogba - who won eight trophies during his previous spell in Turin - among those being considered, along with Fiorentina ace Federico Chiesa.

"Chiesa? We certainly have a competitive team," he said at a Football Leader 2019 event on Tuesday. "As far as the market is concerned, we await the name of the coach.

"We will make the necessary assessments after announcing it. Pogba? The same, we'll speak with the new coach."

Real Madrid are also believed to be in the running to sign Pogba, who was named in the PFA Team of the Year for 2019 despite a largely underwhelming campaign for United.
