Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard is reportedly set to receive a new, improved deal at Old Trafford as a reward for his impressive first-team performances.
The 22-year-old has received plaudits since breaking into the first team and was also named in Roy Hodgson's England squad for Tuesday's friendly against France.
According to The Mirror, Lingard and his representatives have been invited to open negotiations on a new deal which would double his wages to £50,000 a week.
Lingard crossed for Wayne Rooney to score the matchwinner against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League and scored his first Premier League goal for United in the 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
