Liverpool have reportedly drawn up a three-man shortlist of potential replacements for Georginio Wijnaldum as the Dutchman prepares to leave the club this summer.
Wijnaldum's current deal at Anfield is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that the Netherlands international will be departing Anfield on a free.
The 30-year-old continues to be strongly linked with Barcelona, although Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested in the experienced midfielder.
According to Goal, Liverpool have identified Borussia Monchengladbach's Florian Neuhaus, Brighton & Hove Albion's Yves Bissouma and Lyon's Houssem Aouar as potential replacements.
Neuhaus has been strongly linked with Jurgen Klopp's side in recent weeks, while Bissouma's performances for Brighton have allegedly attracted attention from the Reds, although Manchester United and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in his services.
Aouar was strongly linked with Arsenal and Real Madrid during last summer's transfer window, but the 22-year-old ultimately remained with Lyon and has again impressed this term, scoring six times and contributing three assists in 24 appearances at club level.
