Liverpool 'keeping close tabs on Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho'

Liverpool are reportedly ready to rival Manchester United for the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho in the summer of 2021.

Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the future of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United's pursuit of the England international dominated talk of the summer transfer window, but a move did not materialise and he remained at the Westfalenstadion.

Sancho is yet to get off the mark in the current Bundesliga campaign, although the 20-year-old has registered five league assists as well as four goals in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal.

United are expected to reignite their interest in Sancho next summer, but according to the Que Golazo podcast, Liverpool are also in the race for his signature.

Anfield was touted as a potential destination for Sancho during the most recent transfer window, and the Reds are said to be considering a £110m swoop for the Dortmund attacker in 2021.

Sancho is under contract at the Westfalenstadion until the end of the 2022-23 campaign, where he boasts a total of 38 goals and 52 assists in 117 matches.
