Liverpool have moved to the head of the queue for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to the Daily Mail.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is understood to have made a personal call to Palace manager Dougie Freedman with a view to completing a £10m move.
Dalglish is believed to have asked Freedman about the 19-year-old's character rather than his footballing ability, and could make his move before the end of the January transfer window.
Manchester United and Manchester City are also keen on the youngster, who has scored six times in 74 appearances for the London club.
