Liverpool are allegedly regarded as the frontrunners to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who is also attracting interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Liverpool are allegedly regarded as the frontrunners to secure a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

After a number of issues in recent weeks, the England international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion.

While Dortmund have insisted that the 19-year-old will not leave during the January window, speculation persists regarding a future big-money return to the Premier League.

According to The Athletic journalist Simon Hughes, Liverpool are most likely to sign Sancho if the youngster chooses to sign for an English club.

With Liverpool having endured a quiet summer on the transfer front, it is further claimed that the funds are available for the Champions League winners to meet Dortmund's valuation, said to be in the region of £120m.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also monitoring the situation ahead of possible bids in the coming months.
