Liverpool are allegedly regarded as the new favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
For a number of months, Manchester United have been suggested as Sancho's preferred destination should he depart the Westfalenstadion during the next transfer window.
Dortmund are said to value the England international in the region of £100m, just under double what Liverpool were not prepared to pay for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
However, according to Le 10 Sport, the Merseyside outfit have now moved ahead of United in the race to sign the 20-year-old.
With a degree of uncertainty over the future of Sadio Mane, manager Jurgen Klopp is allegedly happy to allocate any funds generated from the sale of the Senegal international towards buying Sancho.
Nevertheless, the coronavirus pandemic means that Mane is unlikely to depart Anfield in 2020, potentially leaving Sancho to mull over spending another year at Dortmund.
