Liverpool are reportedly planning to make a big-money approach for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in 2021.

Liverpool are reportedly planning to make an approach for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho next summer.

Manchester United have long been regarded as the favourites to sign the England international, who is valued at £108m by his current club.

However, it is increasingly likely that the 20-year-old will remain at the Westfalenstadion this season, inevitably leaving United at risk of facing more competition for the player.

According to reports in Spain, Liverpool will be prepared to match any offer from United ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

While Liverpool have been restricted with spending during the current window, they are expected to be in a better position to make a big-money bid next year.

Providing that he does not pen fresh terms with the Bundesliga side, Sancho will have two years remaining on his contract.
