Liverpool have reportedly signalled their intent to join the race to sign Benfica forward Anderson Talisca, who is currently on loan at Besiktas.
The Brazilian is regarded as one of the top emerging prospects in world football, with 30 goals coming from 64 appearances for the Turkish giants since 2016.
With the 23-year-old returning to his parent club in the summer, Manchester United have been linked with a big-money offer ahead of the summer window but according to Fanatik, Liverpool want to beat their North-West rivals to the player's signature.
Talisca still has over two years remaining on his contract at Benfica, but it appears increasingly likely that the Portuguese giants will look to sell the striker - who is valued at over £35m - to the highest bidder.
In the past, there has been interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the Championship side would likely struggle to compete for Talisca should Liverpool and United make official bids.
