Liverpool could reportedly battle bitter rivals Manchester United for the signature of Valencia attacker Ferran Torres during this summer's transfer window.
The speculation surrounding the 20-year-old's future has gathered pace in recent weeks, with a number of clubs thought to be closely keeping an eye on developments.
The Spaniard's existing deal at the Mestalla is due to expire next summer, and Los Che are allegedly finding it difficult to convince him to pen a fresh contract at the club.
United are reportedly 'in contact' with Torres's entourage as they attempt to secure a summer deal for the youngster, but according to Le 10 Sport, Liverpool are also keen on his signature.
Torres has been in impressive form at club level during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring six times and registering seven assists in 35 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli have also previously been credited with an interest in the Spain Under-21 international.
