Manchester United are reportedly holding out for at least £28m for Luke Shaw, despite the full-back being deemed surplus to requirements by Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils are said to be determined to recoup the money paid to Southampton to sign the Englishman in 2014 and are confident of bidders coming forward.
According to The Sun, the £130,000-a-week defender - under contract at Old Trafford for another 12 months - is being monitored by a number of clubs, including both Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona.
A United source is quoted by the publication as saying: "The club are pretty adamant they want all their money back paid to Southampton. Jose hasn't decided whether to get rid of him yet but his young age and market prices justify the position."
Shaw is in line for a first outing in a month on Wednesday night as United are expected to rotate their squad for the trip to Bournemouth.
