Manchester City have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland during this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old is enjoying another standout season for BVB, scoring 31 times in 29 appearances in all competitions, including 10 goals in six Champions League outings.
A number of clubs have been linked with the Norway international, who could be allowed to leave Signal Iduna Park this summer due to the German outfit's financial problems.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Man City are now at the head of the queue for the striker, with Pep Guardiola's side leading the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Manchester United have also been strongly linked with Haaland, but the Red Devils are allegedly not prepared to enter a bidding war and could ultimately be priced out of a move.
The Citizens are expected to sign a new forward this summer as a replacement for Sergio Aguero, with the Argentine's contract at the Etihad Stadium due to expire at the end of June.
