Benfica striker Darwin Nunez is reportedly set to stay with the Portuguese giants in January, amid interest from Manchester City.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Primeira Liga outfit in recent months, with Pep Guardiola's side believed to be leading the race for his signature.
However, Portuguese news outlet Record claims that Benfica 'will not accept' any offers for Nunez in January and plan to keep the Uruguay international for the rest of this season.
Nunez, who is understood to have a £127.5m (€150m) release clause in his contract, is also attracting interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan.
Uruguay compatriot Luis Suarez recently revealed that he recommended the young striker to Barcelona during his time with the Catalan club.
Nunez scored 16 league goals in 32 appearances for Spanish second-tier side Almeria, before making the move to Benfica in September 2020, where he has found the net 20 times in 52 matches.
