Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Benfica wonderkid Cher Ndour, with local rivals Manchester United also interested in the youngster.
The 18-year-old currently plays for Benfica B in the second division of Portugal but made his first-team debut in March of this year, appearing off the bench during a 5-1 win over Vitoria de Guimaraes.
Having broken the record for the youngest player to ever feature for Benfica B and regularly turning out for Italy's Under-20 side, the midfielder is understood to have gained admirers from around Europe.
According to The Sun, Manchester City have entered the race to secure the services of Ndour for next season, with Erik ten Hag's United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and AC Milan also interested.
The report claims that scouts from Pep Guardiola's Citizens have been watching Ndour in matches for both his club and country, with the Premier League champions looking to lure future stars to the Etihad.
It is believed that the player is not keen on a return to Italy but is willing to fully consider his options ahead of the summer transfer window.
