Manchester City have reportedly discovered the asking price of top transfer target Omar Marmoush after informing Eintracht Frankfurt that they want to sign the attacker 'immediately'.
The Citizens have been heavily linked with the 25-year-old since the January transfer window opened, with Pep Guardiola believed to be keen to bolster his options up front.
Man City have relied heavily on Erling Haaland's goals so far this season; the Norwegian has scored 21 times in all competitions and is some way ahead of Phil Foden, who is next on the list with just five goals.
Marmoush has been identified as a leading target by the Citizens having recorded 18 goals and 12 assists in 24 matches for Frankfurt across all tournaments so far this season, netting 13 goals and registering eight assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances.
The Egypt international has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, but Man City appear to be at the front of the queue for the versatile attacker's signature at present.

How much do Frankfurt want for Man City-linked Marmoush?
Recent reports claim that Man City have entered advanced talks with Marmoush's representatives over a January move to the Etihad Stadium.
According to Sky Sports News, Frankfurt have been informed that the reigning Premier League champions now want to sign Marmoush immediately.
However, the Bundesliga outfit are said to be demanding around €80m (£67m) for their star attacker, who has a contract until June 2027.
Marmoush does not have a release clause in his Frankfurt contract and any offers received that fall significantly below their valuation of the player will be rejected.
Man City and Marmoush's entourage are believed to consider a transfer fee between £42m and £50m (€50m to €60m) to be more realistic.
It is claimed that there have been no negotiations between the two clubs just yet, but that is expected to change this month.

Marmoush aware of interest, but focused on Frankfurt
Speaking last week, Marmoush addressed growing transfer speculation over his future, but he did not specifically comment on a potential move to Man City.
"Of course you hear about it in passing," he told reporters. "I'm honoured that people are talking about me. It shows that I'm doing a good job. But on a day-to-day basis, I don't think about it at all."
Marmoush added: "My focus is on Eintracht Frankfurt and being successful here. There is always a lot of speculation from the outside. But I don't have a specific dream destination.
"What I can promise the fans is that I will give my all for Eintracht in every game. I'm not thinking about a transfer. I'm living in the here and now and enjoying my time at Frankfurt."
Man City are also in the market for defensive reinforcements and are believed to have stepped up their pursuits of 20-year-old centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov and 18-year-old Vitor Reis from Palmeiras.
