Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has reportedly been identified as a potential transfer target for Manchester United.
The 24-year-old was initially frozen out of the Lilywhites squad under Nuno Espirito Santo but is beginning to be handed opportunities in the engine room this season.
However, Ndombele's future with the North London club is still highly uncertain, with Spurs thought to be one of several sides interested in a deal for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
Man United are also expected to be in the market for midfield reinforcements next summer, and Calciomercato claims that Ndombele is on the Red Devils' radar alongside Kessie.
The report adds that Ndombele forms part of a contingency plan in case Paul Pogba departs the club on a free next summer, although United supposedly want to make the former Juventus man the Premier League's highest-paid player ever.
Ndombele lasted 62 minutes of Sunday's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea - his first Premier League appearance of the new season - and his contract in North London runs until 2025.
