Manchester United, Chelsea to battle for Jadon Sancho this summer?

Manchester United could battle for the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United could reportedly go head to head with Chelsea for the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho during this summer's transfer window.

The 20-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford last year, but the Red Devils were not thought to be prepared to meet BVB's £108m asking price.

A recent report claimed that Sancho could be available this summer for a fee in the region of £88m, with the German side being forced to drop their asking price due to the current climate.

According to SPORT1, Dortmund are expecting the England international to leave the club ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, and both United and Chelsea are firmly in the hunt for his signature.

Sancho has found it difficult to show his best form at club level this season but has still managed eight goals and 13 assists in 25 appearances in all competitions.

The former Manchester City youngster has a contract at Signal Iduna Park until June 2023.
