Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.
The Red Devils announced on Friday evening that an agreement with Fenerbahce had been reached for the transfer of Fred, who will complete his medical in Istanbul on Saturday afternoon.
Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay are also heavily being linked with exits, and there will be at least one midfield addition at Old Trafford before the end of the summer transfer window.
Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat continues to be linked with a switch to Old Trafford, but it has been claimed that Juventus are now firmly in the race for the Morocco international.
As a result, Man United are said to be considering alternatives, and according to the Daily Mail, Onana has emerged as a genuine target for the 20-time English champions.

The report claims that much will depend on Everton's valuation, as Man United are not able to make a huge signing in that area of the field due to their summer spending thus far.
The 21-year-old made the move to the Toffees from Lille last summer, and he was in impressive form for the Merseyside outfit during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring once and providing two assists in 35 appearances.
Onana has another four years left to run on his contract at Goodison Park, but his performances last season are believed to have led to a number of clubs expressing an interest.
The Belgium international started his career with Hoffenheim in Germany before representing Hamburger SV, and he has Champions League experience, which he gained at Lille.

Onana was named in the Everton XI for their 2023-24 Premier League opener at home to Fulham on Saturday.
Man United have already boosted their midfield department with the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea, while they have also brought Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund to the club this summer.
As well as a central midfielder, a centre-back is expected to arrive before the end of the window, with Harry Maguire thought to be nearing a move to West Ham United.
Bayern Munich's Benjamin Pavard is being heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, but Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo is thought to be the team's leading target in that area of the field, with a Red Devils scout said to have watched the Frenchman in action for his side against Lille on Friday night.
