Manchester United have reportedly made Inter Milan's Denzel Dumfries a top target for the summer transfer window, and could use Victor Lindelof in a potential swap deal.
Lindelof has barely featured in the Man United first team this season, starting just five Premier League games while also struggling to get any minutes in the Europa League.
As well as adding attacking reinforcements, Erik ten Hag looks set to be in the market for defenders too, with his compatriot Dumfries high on the list.
Football Insider claim that the two clubs may look to agree a deal which will see Dumfries and Lindelof swap clubs.
The Dutchman was a standout for the Oranje at both Euro 2020 and the previous World Cup, and has been involved in 16 goals as a marauding full-back in 18 months at San Siro.
Inter will also be in the market for defensive assets given the fact Milan Skriniar will depart for Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
With fellow centre-back Francesco Acerbi also approaching his late 30s, the Nerazzurri have been linked with the Swedish international, who cost Man United around £40m in 2017.
