Manchester United have reportedly joined the race for in-demand RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his Bundesliga club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 13 times and registering nine assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.
A number of clubs, including Manchester City and Arsenal, continue to be credited with an interest in the Frenchman ahead of the January transfer window.
According to German journalist Christian Falk, Man United are also in the hunt for the attacker, with the club's new interim head coach Ralf Rangnick an admirer of his talents.
Falk claims that Rangnick tried to sign Nkunku for Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, and the Frenchman eventually joined the Bundesliga outfit in 2019.
The former PSG youngster, who has a contract in Germany until June 2024, has scored 25 goals and registered 36 assists in 104 appearances for the Red Bulls in all competitions.
