Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Atletico Madrid centre-back Diego Godin in this summer's transfer window.
United are believed to be in the market for at least one new centre-back ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, and a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld has gone cold in recent weeks.
According to AS, Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has identified Godin as the perfect summer arrival as speculation surrounding the future of the 32-year-old gathers pace.
Godin, who is currently representing Uruguay at the 2018 World Cup, will see his current Atletico deal expire at the end of next season, and could be available for £18m this summer.
Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Godin, who represented Villarreal for three seasons ahead of a move to Atletico in the summer of 2010.
