Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri emerges as a summer target for Manchester United, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to explore the possibility of signing Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri during this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old has been with Getafe since 2017, making 141 appearances for the Spanish outfit in all competitions, including 34 outings during the 2020-21 campaign.

Arambarri's current deal is due to expire in June 2023, and according to Traspasos, Man United are following the midfielder 'closely' as they weigh up a summer offer.

The report claims that the 20-time English champions view the Uruguay international as a 'perfect option' due to the fact that he would be available for a reasonable fee in the upcoming market.

Getafe would allegedly be open to selling the South American if they were to receive an offer in the region of €30m (£25.8m).

Arambarri, who has been capped on four occasions by his national side, has scored three times in 33 La Liga appearances during the current season.
